As Yukki and I were watching the other day on YouTube the Memorial Service for Loren Cunningham, I thought to myself:
“Loren, is the last of the ‘seven giants of faith’ who have gone to be with the Lord in recent years.”
One by one, these 7 men of God have completed their race.
American evangelist Billy Graham, Argentinian evangelist Luis Palau, German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, Korean pastor Yonggi Cho, Open Doors founder Brother Andrew, Operation Mobilization founder George Verwer and Youth With A Mission founder Loren Cunningham.
These 7 giants have impacted the world for Jesus like few others in the history of the Church.
I had the opportunity to hear all seven preach and to meet most of them.
Cunningham was the last of this unusual generation. A generation that believed it was possible to change the world for Jesus.
