It’s been 10 years since the first version of ‘Leave the shore!’ left the shore to encourage Christians to move out into mission.
This little book based on 9 sermons was first released in French and English, then other languages followed: Arabic, Spanish, Khmer, Finnish, Portuguese and Braille (for the visually impaired).
Since 2013, we’ve received many letters from readers who have been inspired to take their nets into the deep end of world mission.
Last week, a young French woman sent us this email:
“THANK YOU for encouraging young and old to get out of the boat. I believe this message has borne fruit, and here I am today in Iraq, with my husband. We are now missionaries with an NGO that has been in the country for over 10 years. I’m so grateful for the way God has led everything. Serving the Lord in the Middle East is an enormous privilege.”
