IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WEC

I have just spent a whole month with the WEC team (Worldwide Evangelisation for Christ) in Illzach on the East side of France.

For some time now I had been looking to get closer to this great international mission with which I served for 10 years in Cambodia.

At the WEC base, I met up with old missionary friends and made new ones.

Many thanks to Béatrice Glauser, in charge of the Candidates’ Orientation Course for the many helpful classes, the different speakers, the interesting topics studied.

Reading the biography of C.T Studd, the founder of WEC was so inspiring. A book everyone serious about mission should get!

At the end of those 4 weeks, I suggested to the director Miguel Cervantes a partnership with WEC so we can mobilize together French believers for the mission.

My partnership with WEC started already last Saturday when Miguel and I took the road to Bouxwiller, a small town not far from Strasbourg. To the folks from various churches who gathered for the meeting, Miguel shared about serving overseas with WEC and I preached a challenge for the mission.

Many came up afterward to talk with WEC’s director for France about possible mission opportunities or to get one or more copies of my book ‘C’est Toujours Possible!’.

A good start for a partnership!
