It was at the largest Mennonite church in France that was held last Saturday the Mission Conference IRRESISTIBLE.
Dozens of Christians from all over the region came to the church in the town of Montbéliard for the event.
This special meeting is a wake-up call to go and make disciples of all nations.
After a big meal around the traditional flammekueche I gave the last sermon of the day. Yukki shared with all the participants prayer points for the continent of Asia.
A journalist of the Mennonite magazine ‘Christ Seul’ asked me why I had accepted the invitation to come to the event. I replied: ‘ I came because I am passionate about mission and passionate to see as many people leave the shore, get into the boat with Jesus and cast their nets into the deep end of world mission. As long as there is still one unreached people group in the world, as long as one people group still has not the Bible in their own language, then mission must be the number one priority of the Church.”
