Luis Palau has gone to be with the Lord. The news of the famous Argentinian evangelist’s death has not been mentioned much in the Christian media though few preachers have had such an impact across the world as Luis Palau.
Throughout his ministry, this humble servant of God has preached to one billion souls (yes one billion!) in 75 countries.
I consider Palau to be one of the ‘ 3 greats. Billy Graham, Reinhard Bonnke, Luis Palau have all 3 gone to be with the Lord these past 3 and a half years. These ‘3 mousquetaires of the Gospel’ have led millions of sinners to Christ.
‘Latin Harvest’ was the very first book in English I read as a boy. It talks about the amazing growth of the Latino Church and the ministry of Luis Palau.
Meeting up with him in Northern Ireland in May 1995 will be one of those unforgettable memories of my life.
