WITH WEC IN NORMANDY

After 8 hours’ drive from one side of the country to the other, the 12-member team from WEC arrived last Friday in Lisieux.

We are in Normandy for a 10-day evangelistic mission in one of the least evangelised regions in France. Most evangelical churches here are small, struggling and scattered.

My brother, his wife and their daughter came over for the whole day Saturday. My niece (who just turned 18) was one of the speakers at the ‘ Mission & Me’ Conference.

The next day, the whole team went to minister at 3 different churches. The team I joined went to the town of St Lo where a dozen of people gathered in an hotel. I gave a simple, short Gospel message. 6 unbelievers gave their lives to Jesus.

Normandy, where thousands of soldiers landed on the beaches during World War 2 is in great need today of soldiers of the Cross to join the battle for lost souls.
