The Weekly Update – September 8, 2025
Last Saturday, the very first on-site ‘Cercle des Proclamateurs’ was held in Vichy.
At 9:30 a.m., participants from various Christian communities were welcomed with hot drinks and pastries before taking their seats around the tables for Session 1. This free training is open to everyone, regardless of age or church affiliation, one Saturday morning per month.
Each meeting includes a time of discussion, the presentation of a new “tool” for better preaching, and a guest speaker (involved in public speaking), with the contribution of an artist (singer, musician…).
On Sunday morning, we drove to Gannat, where 50 years ago, Matthew and Margaret Paton opened in this small town in Central France the first evangelical church. The room was full, hearts were opened , and at the call, several gave their lives to Christ. Before opening the Bible, I said, “I was born 50 meters from here, and I was born again 5 meters from here,” pointing to the first floor where, at the age of 4, in what was my bedroom, I gave my heart to Jesus.
