Outreach in St-Yorre

The Weekly Update – October 13, 2025

“St Yorre” is known for its famous brand of mineral water.

In St-Yorre, a small town in Central France, there’s an evangelical church that a pastor and his wife, full of love for the lost, opened years ago.

Yesterday, a Gospel service was held there, just like the ones we like to help organise : evangelistic songs, testimonies of changed lives (in the form of interviews), the preaching of Salvation, and an invitation to publicly confess Christ.

There were as many unbelievers as there were believers.

The presence of the Holy Spirit was felt from the start of the meeting. At the invitation, five women gave their lives to Jesus. One of them, an elderly lady of Spanish origin, had never been to an evangelical church before. She stood at the front (holding the hands of the other women) to confess aloud that she was accepting Jesus as her only Savior. Another lady said, “We were lost sheep, but now we are in the Shepherd’s fold.”

A buffet followed. It was an opportunity, around good food, to surround the new believers…

If only all church leaders in France and elsewhere could organize services throughout the year where, from beginning to end, everything is done for those outside the Church.
