Who would have thought that in Ruederbach, a remote village in Alsace, there would be a large, brand-new church?
The new building of the Evangelical Mennonite Church was the venue last Saturday for the Oxygène meeting open to 15–35-year-olds.
Markus Glauser accompanied us. He gave a brief introduction about serving as short-termers with WEC. Yukki read the Bible passage and prayed. Then I preached the Gospel to the 50 or so young people.
At the call for Salvation, 11 decided like the blind Bartimaeus to ‘throw off their old cloak, rise up and follow Jesus’.
Let us pray that God will use those new disciples to make a difference for God’s Kingdom.
