A few days ago, the members of the ‘Plus forts que les TOC’ (Stronger than OCD) group got together, via WhatsApp.
Timothée opened this group to enable those who suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder to freely share their struggles (and victories!) and pray for each other.
Because together, we’re always stronger!
Knowing that others are going through the same difficulties is a tremendous help.
At our last meeting, new people joined us for the first time.
Together we read the story of the paralytic at the Pool of Bethesda, sick for 38 years, to whom Jesus said, “Get up, take your stretcher and walk.”
He didn’t say, “Take your stretcher and limp.”
Jesus didn’t come to make us better or to help us endure our condition. He came to heal and free us fully from those irrational fears and those ‘scratched records in our heads’.
We don’t need to live another day at the pool of Bethesda!
The ‘Stronger than OCD’ group is open to everyone, Christian or not.
Do pray that those who need to be part of the group would hear about it and would come along.
