THE DEAF NEED JESUS!

At the Café & Croissant Evangelistic Meeting held at the Evangelical Church in Thann, we were sitting next to a couple. Both are deaf.

During the service, another deaf couple joined them.

It was Béatrice who translated for them the songs, the testimony and the Gospel message. This Christian lady serves God in churches here in Alsace by translating into sign language.

In fact, every month a ‘special service for the hearing-impaired’ is organised in Mulhouse.

Béatrice tells us that only the Bible books of Jonah and Luke are available (on video) for French-speaking deaf people.

There are an estimated 70 million deaf people in the world who still have no access to the Good News, making them one of the largest unreached people groups in the world.

A vast mission field!
