It happened 7 years ago. I remember it as if it had happened this morning.
I was at my home in Phnom Penh. As I woke up, I felt like paralysed. All my strength had gone. After a huge effort I dragged myself to the bathroom. That’s where my whole world crumbled. I got very close to a stroke. It was the beginning of a severe burn out that shook my life to the core.
Shortly afterwards I left my house for good.
Since then, all my belongings have fitted into two suitcases.
From that first Saturday of April 2013, I have not really had a place of my own. A number of health issues followed too; 6 altogether.
In spite of these challenges I was able, by God’s Grace, to travel and preach in a number of countries.
I believe those storms are now behind and I believe also the Lord will soon lead me to a new house of my own.
I thank all of you who have so faithfully prayed for me.
Happy Easter!
