The Weekly Update – March 30, 2026
Tanveer is one of those Christians we have never met, yet with whom we serve God together.
He is a pastor in Karachi, whom the Lord has led to translate ‘Leave the shore!’ into Urdu, one of the many languages spoken in Pakistan.
In fact, it was during his second reading of the book that his heart was deeply moved.
Tanveer leads a small congregation of 40 to 50 people who gather in his living room.
This faithful servant of God has already used two chapters of the book—“Go down into the valley” and “Can you carry a stretcher?”—to preach to the believers of his congregation.
In the coming days, he plans to print 1,000 copies of the book in Urdu to distribute to brothers and sisters in various churches.
Latest news: “Leave the shore!” has just been published in Polish, and “C’est toujours possible!” (second book, not yet in English) has just been published in Portuguese.
