Last Wednesday, we arrived in the heart of the volcanoes, in Central France. As soon as we walked through the door of our hotel, the receptionist informed us: “A pipe in town has just burst. So there’s no water anywhere in the building. And there’s no way of knowing when it will be repaired.”
We were faced with a choice: stay or find another hotel for the night. While some guests decided to leave, we chose to stay.
“Well, I hope you bring good news!” the receptionist said.
“Yes, ma’am,” we replied, “we are actually bearers of good news!”
We put our suitcases in the room. In the bathroom, I raised my hand above the faucet. I proclaim, “In the name of Jesus, let the water come back!” And I turned on the faucet and… water began to flow freely.
We head up to the front desk to announce that the water is back on.
The hostess replies, “That’s not possible. Then it must be residue in the water tank.”
Intrigued, she goes to check. And to her surprise, water is flowing!
“Well, sir and madam, you really do bring good luck!”
I announced, “I simply asked Jesus to bring back the water, and the water came back.”
“Then we’ll keep you!” said the hostess, still astonished.
I replied, “It’s very simple, just say ‘Jesus help me,’ and he will perform a miracle for you too!”
Two other staff members who heard everything are standing there, speechless.
On the day of our departure, we give the hostess a gospel.
“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24) – Yukki
