Yesterday, we were visiting an evangelical church where two Christians got baptised…for the second time!
Both had already been baptized as adults. At the time, they simply wanted to be like everyone else. They had never grasped Salvation for themselves. It was only years later that they were truly converted.
I’m afraid they’re not the only ones. I guess many more have gone into the waters of baptism only to realise later in life their need to repent and trust in Jesus.
That’s why it’s so important to proclaim the Plan of Salvation and the need for a personal encounter with Christ in our Sunday morning services, in our Sunday schools, youth meetings and to the elderly.
Please pray for the next Gospel meetings scheduled for this year: In November, (3) in Thann, (8 & 9) in Ohain, Belgium, (17) at 7VB in Mulhouse. In December, (8) in St Dié des Vosges and (21) in Burnhaupt le Bas.
