Last Saturday under a beautiful Belgium sun, my nephew Benjamin took Zoé to be his wife.
My parents and I drove all the way to the Christian Centre in Bruxelles for a beautiful ceremony. The Covid did not stop a large number of friends and family from joining the event.
In front of the church building the newly married couple let out two white doves into the blue sky…
We then all drove back to France for the evening meal at Wattrelos Baptist Church.
My father made a surprise when he walked into the church with his full kilt uniform reminding everyone of the Scottish roots of the Paton family.
My first nephew Jonathan married a Belgium girl.
My second nephew Samuel married a Belgium girl.
My third nephew Benjamin has just married a Belgium girl!
PS: Do pray for the upcoming WEC UP event this Saturday in Wissembourg near the German border. I will be speaking at the event and at the church service the next morning.
