For decades, Jean-Luc Pieret, founder of ‘ESAIE 55’ French Bibles, has been tirelessly dedicated to spreading the Gospel in France.
His passion for evangelism and for finding new ways to share the Gospel is a great inspiration to us.
Jean-Luc has created a leaflet entitled ‘La vie est une course’ (‘Life is a race’) to be handed out at major cycling events. He invites us to ‘run to win the prize’ by organising handouts at the roadside as the riders pass by, during the Criterium or the Paris-Nice, for example.
This summer, the Tour de France is a fantastic opportunity to hand out the flyer to as many people as possible.
Evangelist Pieret says: “Personally, I’ve never been interested in cycling races, but the Lord called me to use these opportunities to proclaim His Word.”
This year, the town of Vichy where we live is hosting one of the Tour de France stages. This is a great open door to hand out the leaflet.
