NORTHERN IRELAND

30 years after studying together at Elim Bible School, Timothée reunited with Tim McIlwrath, now pastor at the New Testament Pentecostal Church in Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland.

Tim and Nicky greeted us at Belfast airport on Thursday evening, before a busy but blessed weekend. 6 meetings: to children, to young people, at a men’s breakfast, on Sunday morning and at an evangelistic service. On Sunday evening, we were both tired but so happy. We closed the meeting singing ‘What a friend we have in Jesus’ written in 1885 by Joseph Scriven who was born 15 minutes away from the church.

The Fellowship, which started from nothing, now has dozens of members, a school, a café (Café 3:16) and a bookshop.

Tim and Nicky are an example of obedience and perseverance.

Between two meetings, we had the privilege of visiting a gigantic Christian printing house that sends out every year over 82 million tracts and evangelistic booklets free of charge around the world.

Before we return on Wednesday, we’ll have the opportunity to see Belfast harbour, where the Titanic was built, and to visit the famous Giant’s Causeway.
