2-DAY MISSION IN GRENOBLE

Following the ‘One Minute Witness’ training on evangelism given last Saturday by our friend Marc Greiner, a few of us went out into the streets of Grenoble. We shared our testimony with men and women of different nationalities. What a joy it was to pray on the pavement for an Afghan and a Moroccan.

In the evening, the Brethren Assembly was the venue for a meeting open to Christians from various churches. I preached on Jesus’ invitation to his downcast disciples: “Come and eat”.

The next day, I encouraged the believers to develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit, following the example of Simeon in Luke 2. The service lasted two and a half hours, but nobody seemed to be in a hurry to leave…

We both had good contacts with members of the church interested in serving on mission.
