ONE BAPTISM – SEVERAL NEW PEOPLE

Eliot, the son of our friends Marc and MoeySim Greiner, had the good idea of organizing his baptism on a Saturday afternoon and taking the opportunity to invite his friends.

The church in Mulhouse (where we are members) was almost full. There were 19 unconverted people in the audience!

One family drove 500 kms for the baptism!

Before the sermon, Eliot’s 3 brothers distributed a present to everyone: a copy of the Gospel of John.

So everyone had the Word of God in their hands, which they all took home afterwards!

Before descending into the baptistery, the young man shared his testimony of conversion to a very attentive congregation.

PS: If you’re planning a baptism service, why not do it on a Saturday afternoon (people may be more available than on a Sunday morning)? Remember to offer the gift of a gospel or the New Testament to each participant during the ceremony (this also applies to a wedding).
