{"id":4666,"date":"2026-09-27T20:24:24","date_gmt":"2026-09-27T18:24:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timotheepaton.com\/?p=4666"},"modified":"2026-09-27T20:24:25","modified_gmt":"2026-09-27T18:24:25","slug":"plus-il-y-a-de-lumiere-mieux-cest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timotheepaton.com\/en\/plus-il-y-a-de-lumiere-mieux-cest\/","title":{"rendered":"THE MORE LIGHT THERE IS, THE BETTER !"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <strong>The Weekly Update<\/strong> \u2013 September 28, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few months before my dad went to be with the Lord, I spoke with him on the phone about Gannat in Central France, where he and my mom had opened the town\u2019s first evangelical church back in the 1960s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cDad,\u201d<\/em> I said, <em>\u201cdid you know that there are now three different evangelical churches in Gannat?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cGlory to God!\u201d<\/em> he exclaimed down the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two ways to react when you learn that another church or a house group has just established itself in the same town where your church is :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1- By muttering, <em>\u201c No way! Why has this new group come to set up their church on our territory?! Some of my flock might end up going with them!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2- Or by saying : <em>\u201cGlory to God; His kingdom is growing! The more light there is in the city, the better! I can\u2019t wait to get to know this new group of believers and see how, together, we can reach our community with the Gospel. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Kingdom of God, there are no competitors, only partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c\u2026they caught such a large number of fish that their net began to break.
