The Weekly Update<\/strong> – March 31, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We met her in one of the most remote places of Central France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From her home, she can admire Puy Violent, one of the Cantal’s many volcanoes. In this part of the country, there are probably more red hair cows than inhabitants!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as we greet her, this warm-hearted 90-year-old grandmother shares with us her great fear. \u201cFear of dying…\u201d<\/em> she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDo you know Madame, that you can actually be at peace in the face of death?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCan I ? Then tell me how.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She opens the door to a conversion led by the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We give her a copy of Luke’s Gospel and invite her to turn to Jesus in prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next day, the old lady invites us back to her house for a drink and snacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We share the story of the lost sheep found by the Good Shepherd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She hands us a sheet of paper: \u201cPlease write down the prayer that I need to pray.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With great conviction, she prays out loud:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sins. Forgive all my sins. I believe you are my Saviour. Take my fear and give me your peace. I want to follow you as my Savior and my Lord.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Far away in the beautiful mountains of Central France, a lost sheep has been found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are multitudes of lonely, isolated elderly people so ready to hear the Good News…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
