Many Christian organizations such as Youth With A Mission <\/em>or Holy Games<\/em> have realized that the Olympic Games are a golden opportunity to make Christ known to athletes and fans from all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While Timoth\u00e9e is in the north of France visiting his parents, Yukki will be taking part with her sister in evangelistic outreaches during the Games on the streets of Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Last Sunday, we were in Vichy. The city (with its state-of-the-art sports facilities) provided training for 34 Olympic teams before they head for the French capital. As we arrived at an evangelical church, we spotted a few minutes before the service one of these teams parked in front of the church building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here was a golden opportunity to share the Gospel!<\/p>\n\n\n\n We quickly entered the church to ask if they had any gospels. One lady had just what we needed. So we were able to give the 6 French athletes a Gospel of John, which they gladly accepted.
