{"id":3575,"date":"2023-10-30T10:48:06","date_gmt":"2023-10-30T09:48:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timotheepaton.com\/?p=3575"},"modified":"2023-10-29T11:13:04","modified_gmt":"2023-10-29T10:13:04","slug":"elle-se-leve-quand-je-ne-my-attendais-pas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timotheepaton.com\/en\/elle-se-leve-quand-je-ne-my-attendais-pas\/","title":{"rendered":"THE WOMAN WHO CAME FORWARD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, I was preaching in a church for an Evangelistic service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the very beginning of the message, I announced (as I often do in the introduction):&nbsp;<em>&#8220;In about thirty minutes, at the end of this sermon, I will invite you, if you wish, to come to the front and give your life to Jesus.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To my surprise, a lady gets up and comes to the front of the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I get down and tell her<em>: &#8220;Thank you for coming. But I suggest you listen to the Gospel message first, and from there you can decide if you want to give your life to Jesus.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I think back on that scene, I smile and say to myself:&nbsp;<em>This must be every preacher&#8217;s dream: to see people come forward before he&#8217;s even started preaching!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the record, this dear lady stood up again, this time at the end of the message&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timoth\u00e9e &amp; Yukki<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PS: This week, in the Vosges mountains, we&#8217;ll be having our Annual Conference for all\u00a0<em>WEC France<\/em>\u00a0missionaries.
