{"id":3181,"date":"2023-04-17T15:46:59","date_gmt":"2023-04-17T13:46:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timotheepaton.com\/?p=3181"},"modified":"2023-04-17T15:46:59","modified_gmt":"2023-04-17T13:46:59","slug":"le-grand-mobilisateur-george","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timotheepaton.com\/en\/le-grand-mobilisateur-george\/","title":{"rendered":"THE GREAT MISSION MOBILISER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we were gathered last Saturday in Mulhouse for our annual WEC meeting, we learned that George Verwer had gone be with the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Yukki was sharing the need to mobilise for mission, one of the greatest mobilisers in the History of the Church had just passed away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Evangelist Verwer died at the age of 84, leaving behind one of the largest missionary organisations, now present in 100 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had the opportunity to listen to George preach a few times. In 2019, he asked me if I would come and see him at his home in London.
