Singapore – Challenging for mission

At the 3 meetings I was speaking at in Singapore these past few days I spoke about the urgency of going out to the nations.  Many Singaporeans Christians have already been on Mission Trips , usually for a couple of weeks. As I preached I emphasized that though short trips overseas are good , long term missionaries are very much needed if we want to see the task of world evangelization complete.

I felt much freedom on Saturday night preaching to the Chinese-Speaking Youth at the Anglican ‘Church of our Saviour’. I was so blessed to meet up with Pastor Christopher Ho who I had only met once before…15 years ago in Tasmania, Australia when I was preaching at the WEC Mission College. He translated for me last night. I wish every translator could translate as well as he did! A fantastic job, as if he and I had been doing it for years !

PS: The trip to India that was planned for last week has been moved to this coming week. I fly out to Bangalore this Monday morning…
