15 minutes’ walk from my parents’ house is a small Cambodian congregation. When Brother Sok Reath called me the other day to come and preach, I said yes straight away. I had been to that church many years ago and had not really heard from them since.

When I walked in at 10am yesterday with my Khmer New Testament I was welcomed by a dozen believers. (I can’t remember the last time I saw Cambodians with big thick coats on!)

I gave a message in Khmer that I translated into French (for the few young people who don’t speak their parents’ tongue). Speaking in two languages was like joggling with two balls making sure both stay up in the air!).

Lunch together afterwards was fantastic. Pure Cambodian cuisine. Mum and Dad joined in for the meal.

Remember in your prayers the little Cambodian church in Tourcoing.
