Kick off to the festival

Last Saturday I joined hundreds of Cambodian believers at the Dimond Island Theatre in Phnom Penh for the kick off to the ‘Love Phnom Penh Festival’ which will culminate in November with evangelist Franklin Graham preaching at the National Stadium. Churches and Christian ministries are working hand in hand to reach out to great numbers of Cambodians with the Gospel.

My friends Sophun and Reaksmey along with the children and youth from the ‘Khmer Christian Inheritance Arts School’ presented the Gospel through traditional Cambodian dances. A great performance!

I hope one day some of the dancers can come to France with me for a tour.

On Sunday morning the team came together for worship at the house of Sophun and Reaksmey. I shared the Word. I surprised myself preaching in Khmer with not too much difficulty. (It’s been almost a year and a half since I last gave a message in the Khmer language).

Do keep on praying for Cambodia. It is one of the few countries left in Asia with so much freedom to proclaim the Gospel.
