When I came home yesterday from a week of rest and long walks along the sea (French side of the Channel), my parents told me how blessed they were at the church service the day before.

These past few years some pastors in Northern France, when they go off for their Summer break, ask my father if he is willing to preach at their church.

Last Sunday, my parents were ministering at the Assembly of God in the town of Montigny en Gohelle. My Dad felt much freedom in bringing the Word. My Mum was so touched by the warmth of the church members.

They are very much looking forward to being back in Montigny this coming Sunday.

In July, they were over at another church, in the town of Douai.

I am always so impressed by the joy that pours out of them when they come back from one of those days out.

At age 81, Mum and Dad have such a passion for God’s work. Making Jesus known is their daily priority.

Though they are involved at their own church in Villeneuve d’Ascq (near Lille) they are always excited to drive to another fellowship and bring God’s Word to His people.
