When I landed on Monday 21st at Brussels International Airport in Belgium, my brother came to pick me up. So good to see him again!
All of my world’s belongings were with me in two suitcases and a hand luggage: 42 kilos, half of my own body weight!
We drove down to Wattrelos in Northern France where the whole Paton family had gathered. What a welcome! My Mum and Dad, my brother Marc and his wife Rachel, my oldest nephew Jonathan and his wife Céline, second nephew Samuel and his fiancée Elise, third nephew Benjamin and his friend Zoë and my niece Naomi.
Today, after attending my parents’ church in Roubaix (where each mother received a beautiful rose), Mum and Dad and I went out under a hot sun just over the border into Belgium for a nice buffet meal to celebrate Mother’s Day.
I will be at my parents’ place till June 5th when I move to my new ‘home’ in Chalons sur Saone, near Lyon.
Thank you for your prayers as I settle back in France.
