Last Saturday, we’ve had the joy to see Samuel (my second nephew) get married to the beautiful Elise of Belgium.

The whole family went out in the morning to the Town Hall of Mouscron in Belgium to witness the young couple get married before the law then over to France in the afternoon at the Wattrelos Evangelical Church for the religious ceremony. I did not expect so many people to turn up in the middle of July! Several non-Christian friends and neighbours were in the audience.

After various musical performances ( my parents were so thankful to God to see their 4 grand children on the stage worshipping) , an excellent sermon, the promises of the new married couple ( so moving !) , the parents of Samuel (my brother and his wife) and the parents of Elise prayed for blessings over their life and future ( such a powerful moment).

I’m thankful to God that I was able to join the ceremony. However, I did not feel that I would have had the strength to stay on for the evening meal.

Do pray for Samuel and Elise Paton who will soon be flying out to the USA to join a Discipleship Training School at ‘Youth With A Mission’.
